The foundation also plays a vital role to raise funds and increase awareness about the human trafficking problem of Nepal in the United States and globally within Nepali and international communities. The foundation also supports and partners with other organization in Nepal and India for various projects to fight against trafficking including rescue, reintegration, awareness and prevention.

Board of Directors

Friends of WPC Nepal has many decisions and details that must be figured out to make our project run smoothly and our Board of Directors makes sure that this happens efficiently. Many of them have visited our WPC project in Nepal and have firsthand experience on how it works. Each member volunteers their time to contribute their skills to their specified roles out of the love that they’ve gained for making differences in the lives of women and children in Nepal.

Our staff members consist of dedicated professionals who work hard for our mission. They make sure that our processes are working properly and are flourishing to the greatest extent possible.

Our volunteers consist of individuals who are devoted to the people of Nepal and the mission of the Friends of WPC Nepal. Throughout the year we have many fundraisers and events that need specific attention and these lovely individuals handle that to make sure everything is handled properly. There are many details that must be handled within an NGO and they make sure those needs are met.

All over the country, there are ambassadors of Friends of WPC Nepal who volunteer their time to advocate for our mission in their area. We cannot reach everywhere so the best way to make sure that our work can be spread is through ambassadors who are enthusiastic about educating others about human trafficking and fundraise for our programs. There are many ways we can be helped and they work hard to make these things happen.
