Friends of WPC Nepal is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization registered in the State of Washington. The main role of the foundation is to protect woman and children who have either been a victim of trafficking or are at risk of being trafficked. At Friends of WPC Nepal we fight against trafficking and the sexual exploitation of women and children. We provide support to returned and rescued women and children by providing long term service and other opportunities.
Friends of WPC Nepal support programs that help victims of trafficking, most notably programs operated by the Women’s Protection Center (नारी सुरक्षा केन्द्र) in Hetauda, Nepal. The foundation also plays a vital role to raise funds and increase awareness about the human trafficking problem of Nepal in the United States and globally within Nepali and international communities. The foundation also supports and partners with other organization in Nepal and India for various projects to fight against trafficking including rescue, reintegration, awareness and prevention.

Lila Ghising, is an inspirational woman who is from Hetauda, Nepal. She has both the dream and the drive to dedicate her life to fighting against human trafficking which helps Friends of WPC Nepal to be successful in changing lives in Nepal. She believes in quality over quantity which leads to sustainable futures for our clients.
Friends of WPC Nepal has many decisions and details that must be figured out to make our project run smoothly and our Board of Directors makes sure that this happens efficiently. Many of them have visited our WPC project in Nepal and have firsthand experience on how it works. Each member volunteers their time to contribute their skills to their specified roles out of the love that they’ve gained for making differences in the lives of women and children in Nepal.
Our staff members consist of dedicated professionals who work hard for our mission. They make sure that our processes are working properly and are flourishing to the greatest extent possible.
Our volunteers consist of individuals who are devoted to the people of Nepal and the mission of the Friends of WPC Nepal. Throughout the year we have many fundraisers and events that need specific attention and these lovely individuals handle that to make sure everything is handled properly. There are many details that must be handled within an NGO and they make sure those needs are met.
All over the country, there are ambassadors of Friends of WPC Nepal who volunteer their time to advocate for our mission in their area. We cannot reach everywhere so the best way to make sure that our work can be spread is through ambassadors who are enthusiastic about educating others about human trafficking and fundraise for our programs. There are many ways we can be helped and they work hard to make these things happen.
