Support WPC Vocational Training Program
Vocational training and life skills help survivors support themselves and move toward normal life. Your gifts help teach women job skills like sewing, knitting and beading. These are in-demand and employable trade skills in Nepal that women can use to start their own businesses or work for someone else.
The duration of each course is 4 to 6 months. After graduating from the training, resources help women connect with local businesses to find employment or to establish their own small shop or business.
Even though they are trained and skilled, finding employment can still be difficult. Unemployment remains as high as 47%. As a result of unemployment some women are at risk of being re-trafficked or involved in prostitution.
